Have you noticed anything a bit strange about our inscription range? That negative number (-5100) indicates a cursed inscription.
The Bitcoin Nouns story takes an unexpected turn with two "Cursed Inscriptions." These inscriptions are remnants of bugs in the Ordinals protocol and are considered technically invalid. However, the Bitcoin Nouns community has embraced the absurdity, recognizing these glitches as a unique part of the project's lore.
We have two Cursed Inscriptions in the Bitcoin Nouns collection:
Inscription -5100 Block height 791,210
Inscription -4883 Block height 791,203
True to our first-is-first ethos, and as determined via community consensus, these inscriptions will remain part of the collection. These inscriptions are "unbound," so they don't have an owner and cannot be transferred or sold.
Despite this fact, they are a testament to the unpredictable journey of blockchain history. and remain an integral part of Bitcoin Nouns' lore, forever etched into the annals of digital heritage.
